• How Much Does it Cost to Vape?

We get a lot of folks in our shop who are interested in switching from cigarettes to vaping because of the obvious health benefits, but also because they’re hoping it will save them money.  With the rising tobacco taxes and the cost of a pack of smokes, the trendy new vape shops are starting to look more and more appealing to the average smoker.

So what’s it cost to get started?

Great question.  Plenty of our customers claim to save thousands of dollars per year by vaping instead of traditional smoking.

Getting started requires an initial investment in the equipment.  A personal vaporizer can range from the ultra simple to the fully tricked-out mods that the real devotees enjoy.  A basic starter kit will include a vaporizer, an atomizer (tank that holds the liquid), and a charger.  Most of our high-quality starter kits are in the $35-$75 range.

Once you have the gear, you’ll want to stock up on a few bottles of liquid.  A basic 10mL bottle has the nicotine equivalent of a carton of cigarettes and costs around $10, depending on the brand and flavor.  A carton of cigs can run you upwards of $70 to $125!

For less than $100 you can switch to vaping liquids over traditional cigarettes and your refill costs month-to-month only run you $10-$30 a month.   Compare that to pack-a-day smokers who shell out $200 a month (minimum) on cigarettes!

Of course, vaping can become an exciting hobby too.  Unlike rolled cigarettes, your personal vaporizer can become something of a project as you explore different mods and custom styles.  The costs can go up if you find yourself invested in the subculture of modifications and specialty gear, but for the simple smoker, we’re talking big savings in your wallet.

Bottom line:  vaping can save you roughly $150 per month when you switch from those dirty, highly-taxed, unhealthy cigarettes, which are responsible for 1 in 5 deaths in America.

Join the vaping revolution and not only will you see a significant improvement in your lung and heart health, you’ll save thousands of dollars per year!
